i have the 3AA version, i like it over the 2AA. longer runtime and slightly brighter beam. but it is significanly longer length than the 2AA which is longer than the 2AA regular mini-mag.

Comcast Digital HDTV, anyone setup to use it?

hmm try switching the resolution and then either turn off/on the TV and then check or switch inputs. I used to work for a comcast contractor...its entirely possible that your box is bad.

That was damn good eats...chimney seared tuna

for longer runs, i'd try to use hickory chunks (not chips). seems to burn longer than lump charcoal for me, but kinda more difficult to start. I want to get a ceramic 'green' egg, but they are very expensive, and I think the weber smoker does a darn good job.

comcast CSSR will say anything to get you hooked up. but when a tech gets there to do the work and then the customer says that whats on the w/o is not what they were told over the phone... I also think comcast is not the best at valueing their customers except for dish winback situations. $29.95...

Seagate 16 meg cache drive purchasers (300 gig SATA, perhaps others)

how do i tell if the PATA 300GB 16mb cache, retail kit i bought is a 7200.7 .8 or a .9? mine makes a random click sometimes when accessing but i have no problems as of yet. Maybe i sould run the disc diagnostic utilities...I thought seagate was good drives....
