Whilst the difference between the pricing of RDRAM and DDR RAM is no longer such an issue there is still a difference and I would suggest going with the DDR Ram and using the money you save to buy a better video card or the like.

They are a great setup. We've just starting using them here at work. I'd recommend you go with Trinitron monitors though if you can afford them, they're much easier on the eyes than the monitors they ship by default here in AUS. They perfom much faster than the Optiplex GX1s that we were using...
