Heard there are issues with DELL monitors and Ryzen APU's (2200G & 2400G)

Looking at getting either an Asus H87M-PRO w/an I5-4690 or an Asus Z87M-PLUS w/an I5-4690K (depending on which I can get a better deal on).
In either case, looking at getting a Gigabyte GV-N1030D5-2GL (GDDR5 version) using up PCIeX16-1.
Question - for PCIeX16-2 can I install an adapter to boot...
Can get one of these for the same price. What are the differences? Which one is better? Which one would you get and why? Can't seem to find any real reviews on either these boards for some reason. Thanks!
This is what I plan on pairing it with.....
CPU - i5-4690 or i7-4790
RAM - 16GB (8GB x 2)...
ASUS H81M-PLUS w/ i5-4690 16GB RAM.
I know I'll need an adapter card for the SSD.
What M.2 drives can I use to get speeds faster than SATA?
I know NVMe drives are out of the quesion.
Thanks!
UPDATE: Got the RAM. 1 stick as advertised and worked just fine with 8GB + 8GB + 4GB for a total of 20GB. The other one was incorrect (was 4GB DDR3) Sent both of them back. Still waiting for refund. What a ditz.
My computer came with 2 sticks of 8GB memory and would like to add 2 sticks of 4GB OR 2 sticks of 8GB. What memory would work with this (does not have to be Samsung)?
Samsung 8GB 1RX8 PC4-2133P DDR4 Desktop M378A1K43BB1-CPB
Thanks!
In all the comparisons seen, the 4670 seems to be faster while the 6500 is newer and more energy efficient. What performance gains are made with the 6500 (if any)? Thanks!
Thanks! Not the least bit interested in gaming. Looking more for a workstation MB.
Looking at a I3-8100 (which needs DDR4 RAM and a 300-series MB).
Are all the MB's at the 'egg geared toward gaming?
