Still HOT and not Delidded….and it sounds like you don't have that great of a cooler on it. I stay in the 40s or 60 degree's Celsius ALOT because of the Liquid Metal and Probably a better seat to the bottom of the Lid Both.

That Unit is a Dual Primary...and 420uf Rubycon's. a little light on the secondary but it IS Chemicon KZE's and a Rubycon 3300uf on the 3.3v.

Delided and Liquid Metal about the same stuff..probably 80-85cish at 5ghz.
what my 7700k does with either the Sycthe or the loop/Block.
Point was to stop it going to 90-100c....dow corning paste is badddie stuff. It's like 3-4$ tub grease stuff. And putting that on 300-400$ Cpu's and stuff...
I had Bought a USED Samsung UHD 27" older 4k Monitor. Got it for a Good deal.
I don't have the GPU Horsepower yet so just been running it in 2k 1440p.

I had Bulldozer and X58 for Longest time...Then yeah upgraded Got Z270 and Ryzen...Having Trouble with Ryzen...but I think will Eventually get Sorted out.
Just get some upgraded and a few System's how I always Did it.
I have the MSI X470 Gaming Plus. It is a Good Board...and waiting on a NEW 2600x Hopefully...Mine got Damaged from water block Leak...Well they Accepted an RMA told me to ship to AMD ModusLink in FL. So I guess I'll get a NEW Chip some day Soon.
In mean time got BIG AIR and Scythe Running on...
Should get my 4k monitor tomorrow but no I don't really have a 4k card...the 1060 is not a 4k card but will run some older stuff.
Id rather run the 2600x right now...has the multithreaded Powerrrr.
