GF4 lockups - please help.

You added alot of new hardware. Did you format your hard drive and re-install your operating system on your new mobo or did you simply transfer your old hard drive onto the new motherboard? If you answer the latter I would highly recommend a fresh install of Windows.

Are you thinking of the 64 meg card or the 128 meg card? I haven't seen any reviews of either card in the 128 meg variety....but I've seen some write-ups of the 64 meg MSI card and it looks like a great overclocker. Most people seem to be nailing 300/600+ with the MSI which is a nice 20%...

Which GeForce4 drivers to load (detonator drivers of Chaintech drivers)? Please help a newbie.

You can use either but not both at the same time. I would probably start with the Chaintech drivers since they will be pretty-much up-to-date DX8.1 drivers. And, its my understanding, that if the card has extra features like 3d-glasses or VIVO then you need the manufacturers drivers for those...

1) clear the cmos 2) try in both jumperfree and jumper mode 3) in jumper mode, make sure you've got the jumpers set correctly. Check jumper settings on ASUS website. The geniuses at ASUS got the jumper settings backwards in early editions of the manual.

GeForce 4 - new road map / specs - you seen these?

I think benchmarks in general are highly over-rated whether they're synthetic or real. You see people talking about how ATI stomps nVidia (or vice-versa) when one card is doing 168fps in Quake3 and the other is doing 159fps -- as if the card doing 159fps is a piece of crap or something...

Help With A7V Overclocking?

You can adjust the front side bus (frequency) and voltages in the BIOS in jumperfree. If you want to change the multiplier you need to switch to jumpermode and you can adjust everything with the dipswitches.
