Something that scares me is that they seem to have turned off collision detection and lots of physics for the NPCs and vehicles, that also seem very scripted. They just loop around and because they don't have any interaction AI between NPCs, if collision would occur, the just made them pass...

General clarity is like night and day. DLSS makes everything more blurry, which is quite obvious. And with that blurring, i understand even edges get blurrier, "Antialiasing trough smudgeing"

So you really don't see the extreme loss of detail and the ensued blurryness? It's like I'm taking on a pair of strong glasses when looking at the DLSS-picture. I don't wear glasses. Everything from sampling, to textures and reflections are blurred out low res. I do understand the performance...

Would not recommend an enemy to play this game from an external HDD. Please try to get hold of an, at least 512gb nvme, or worst case smaller sata. There is a lot of data being shuffled around in this game!

They seemed to be forced into dlss and capped at 30 FPS. This means at least 2 gens of GPUs until playable. Kind of sad, but it wil be on Steam sale by the at least.

If they just would have scrapped the die space for tensors and doubled the amount of RT-cores, we wouldn't have this compromise in the first place. Then we would be in a situation where we had high fps AND high image quality. Then, add tensor cores when it makes sense to incorporate the AI...

DLSS under Direct ML is in principle DLSS 1.0. We are never going to see The performance increase in FPS is high, but what is won in performance, get lost in quality. It's a slippery slope, taking the DLSS-route forward..

Well, it does not get better by wasting precious die space with unwanted logic. What if they used the die area for more RT cores instead? Then, just maybe, the cards would have rendered well lit AND nice looking images...
