Regardless of what else you might say about them, you can't take it away from Dell when it comes to their design team. Especially their notebook designers.
I guess if I were going to issue any warnings, it would be to choose well before buying, since there's such a wide range of options...
If you would call them components, I would say the cat5 and power cords snaking around the back of my desk. On the other side of the backplates it would have to be the unstoppable Seagate 9GB SCSI HDD.
