Question What are go to power supplies, one for low req, one mid

Plus the headache of troubleshooting the weird grimlins an iffy power supply can create... Its worth going middle of the road at least, maybe not the $150 but I know to stay away from those $30 specials... Its not worth the hassle.

Question What are go to power supplies, one for low req, one mid

I'm in the market for a couple power supplies, one with really low requirements, a ryzen 3400G system with not much else in it, and one more mid range, a 3600/ radeon rx480 or such (possibly 3060 in future if i can ever get one). At any rate, I did some research, but everything i found seems...

Talk me out of a used Alienware R3 laptop

I guess I'm aiming for mid-range gaming. World of warships, world of tanks, maybe some fps on occasion. Kids play some games like farm sim 19 and sims that work on about anything. I just tested world of tanks out on my work laptop, 4th gen i5, it gets about 30 fps on lowest sittings. Maybe...

But would any of those options be in the low price range? Maybe just stick with a rysen 5 laptop? But this are often so cheaply made. Curious about the next gen ryzen laptops but doub those would debut in my price range unless cheaply made also

I think R3 is the model. Looks like 6th gen i5 and geforce 970 with 3gb memory. I have been looking for a laptop to lay in bed with and browse/play some games at night in the $3-400 range. I was already thinking 17 inc would be fine, since I'm not going to be travelling with it, and battery...

Ryzen 2200G Video overclocking?

I recently built (first new build since 2012) a very modest ryzen 2200G system with an Asrock 450M pro motherboard. After reading reviews (especially the one here) and all I figured I could OC the video fairly easily up to 1,600 mhz and get it comparable to a 2400G. I installed win10...
