What brand/model of HD is it? Have you checked the jumper settings? If not, you may want to check mfr. website for specs to check jumper settings for it if they are marked on the drive itself. If they were unable to get the drive running they may have changed the jumpers around, too. If the...
Shipping is additional $9.90 ground for me making net cost $79.88.
ZZF has the 600wt model for $69.99 -$25 MIR = $44.99 here: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...ewAsk_10009333.
Quite a bit of difference for only 50wt of power. Both are 80 Plus Certified with active PFC.
If this is the new 7K1000.C model it should also be a 2-platter drive. This is great deal if it is. I'll check Fry's out to see for sure which model they have. Thanks OP!
AnyDVD HD, DVDRebuilder Pro (buy it, it's well worth it) and Imgburn. That's all I need!
I own DVDFab 6 too. It's great for splitting and ripping discs.
Edit: Windows 7 doesn't seem to like virtual clonedrive. It's a nice freebee, tho!
Buy.com has these for $14.99 free budget shipping. Seems pretty warm to me. I'm not sure about the media codes or ratings for it. Any comments on the quality of media would be appreciated.
TDK 25pk
Edit: Oops, don't be like me and forget bing cashback (4-7%)
Yep, you have to take it inside. They run it as a credit not debit for the amount up to the value of the rebate and you have to sign. I do that with most of mine all the time.
Edit: This is a great deal btw, I'm in for one. Thanks sgrinavi!
MCC03RG20 made in Taiwan is what I got in. Quality rating around 94% on what I've scanned in the past with that media code which is pretty good. Only media I have that beats that average is TY made in Japan.
These results are from the same system. The only difference is the WDC drive is on the primary sata and the Hitachi is on the Raid sata but jbod. Only advantage for the WDC is access time.

Thanks OP! In for a Hitachi 1TB. I have a couple of these and they are good drives. Not as fast as the Caviar black I have but $20 makes it a better deal for me.
No eBillme is a different animal. You set them up and pay them thru billpay from your online bank. Works ok but if you cancel an order they take a while to get your money back to your account
Zipzoomfly has the same Samsung F1 1TB for $78.89 shipped. They pack them better than the Egg but are also slower shipping for me. But hey a buck is a buck.
The specs for these Yate Loon's 47CFM @ 28dBA seem kinda loud for that amount of airflow. I picked up a 4-pk of CM R4-S2S for $14.99 + shipping that are 44.73CFM @ 19.1 dBA. That's too much difference in noise to me for 2-2.5 CFM and only $1 less for 4 but I get the screws with the CM's.
$129.95 +10 tax +$28 s/h = $168 to me. $11 savings.
Not such a great deal and it's not just rebranded. The Amazon model was brand new w/ 1yr warranty vs used refurb w/ 90-day warranty. That may matter to some peeps too.
But the Amazon deal is way way dead anyway ;)
Well, none of mine are used in a RAID setup. I don't know if that makes a difference. I do have 4 of them running pretty much 24x7 since they arrived. All are in Intel based systems. I'm very happy with the performance so far. I have heard there are problems with nVidia chipsets and these drives...
I've got 4 of these 1TB drives now that are from 3 months to 1yr old. None have failed. I did have 1 DOA but that was from mwave. I also have 2 of the Samsung 750's that are well over 1 1/2yrs old and are running fine. I've not had a running Samsung fail yet. Can't say the same for WD drives...
Picked 1 up a couple weeks ago. Running @ 3.2 w/xigmatek hdt cooler I had on hand. Mine's running on a Asus M3N78 open-box I got from the egg for $54. Hard to beat for the price for a dual-core cpu. Guru3d did a nice review comaring to the E8200 below.

eWiz/SuperBiiz has a special running on these for $10 off with promo code SPECIAL10. Shipping is free for ground service.

I have a couple of these now and they are very solid drives. They are getting harder to find now at a good price. I have ordered from eWiz several...
True, but if the drive has physical damage then the odds are that the warranty is void. I have called WD on this very subject with drives that are lightly dented during shipping but still working. I was told to return them to the Egg because physical damage voids the warranty and a claim with WD...
Be careful not to have AnyDVD HD (or possibly other software of theirs) active on more than 1 pc at a time. They are really anal about it now and will disable your key. Had this happen to me when I bought a new pc and failed to uninstall it off the old one first. Had it set to auto-load on...
Inet video is running some $1-2 HD DVD specials. Shipping is a tad high but I bought 3 Tranformers and 3 My Decembers along with a couple BD movies for $13.50 total shipping fee. That's for a total of 8 discs <$40 shipped. I've placed several orders with them and not had any problems. Shipping...
Season One of Star Trek TOS is out there now on BD. Hard to find and the price is steep for it. I imagine the next two seasons will follow shortly.
EDIT: Looks like season one is in this deal in HD DVD no BD yet, sorry. I also forgot to add that this is a great price for all 3 seasons...
Same here except my second order with them was sent out much quicker.
If they are out of BSG you can still get it at frys for $14.99 + shipping. Still a pretty good deal especially if you add other items. They still have lots of HD DVD's for 3.99 + 4.99.

PowerDVD 7.3.3319 supports playing HDDVD or BluRay directly from the hard dirve. Any version beyond that iirc no longer supports it. You don't need to convert to ISO unless you want to. I have this drive and it's working great for burning DVD's too.
Ordered 2 of these and both drives are physically damaged. Dents on the tops of the drive casings. WD rep said they will not honor the warranty if there is any sign of abuse to send them back to Newegg even if they are working (1 is not). Neither box nor packing showed any signs of damage. Be...
I'm thinking of replacing an E2140 running @2.40 with either this 8400 or the Q6600 for $180. Which do you guys think is the better upgrade with my MSI P35 Neo2?
Just got mine in. These are bare drives only no cable, etc. The warranties check out for the 2 that I bought til 2013. Shipping for 2 for me was the same as 1. Thanks @Tarrant64 for posting!

Really? The 3870 has 5.1 audio thru the HDMI or HDMI/DVI adapter which is a big feature for me. Does the 9600GT do that? For that matter do any NVIDIA cards do audio thru HDMI? My HDTV and AV unit both expect audio from HDMI when connected and have no other...
