I've been using the free version of AVG for about a year now.
I'm very satisfied with it, it's a good program that does it's job well!
The auto-update works like a charm for me, it gets updates about every 2-3 days.

FYI:
If you have an Ikea near by, they always have 10 AA's for $1.99 + tax. That's 50 AA's for $9.95 + tax
They are alkaline but not quite up to Duracell, but almost as good. I use them mostly in my Digital Camera, they are one of the better batteries I've used.

The two things that are keeping me from getting Vonage are:
1) They don't have Caller ID w/ Name (it's just the number)
2) They don't have Privacy Manager (which I have w/ SBC and only 3 sales calls have reached me in the last 7 years)
I heard if you are running the older OSes (Win98, Win2k) the Update site won't tell you you need to install the patch, it only works with XP.
Does anybody know if that is true?
