Silly question but... Im trying to get my parts ready for my next build. Where are you guys finding ram with this type of latency? Im trying to get 32GB dual channel. But I can't find anywhere to buy 3600 at CL15 at all, nor 3200 at CL14. I seemed to have found it in lower 8x8 variants though...

I wonder how they go about addressing this. Part of me feels like its the vendors responsibility. But if the vendor doesn't care enough, perhaps some of the responsibility is with the people at AMD to reach out and get stuff like this addressed.

Isnt the 3700x right there with a 9900 with the 12 core a step beyond it? Aren't we likely looking at parity after the IPC gains and with more cores/threads to boot? Possibly less heat as well?

Would the 100mhz extra make up for any gap? Im primarily gaming but want a 12 core chip considering how long I want to use this next build Im doing in August. Is it really likely or possible that the 8 core would perform better than the 12 for gaming? Would be a bummer.
I, like many others are waiting on this to decide what I will be building. For so many years its almost been a meme that AMD would launch a new product and it would be competitive at the top end for gamers.
