Speculation: Ryzen 3000 series

Curious why you think they will go lga, it was my understanding that pga and zif were a more durable connector due to pins being more substantial in size on pga than lga. Is there a major bandwidth difference?

Fair, we've already seen some rumors of Apple looking into ARM for up and coming macbooks (maybe replacing the core M models)

Yeah I did a little digging and the only traces of a single K chip of any kind in the recent product releases is the x470 k17 north bridge. Looks like my dream of an x86less society is at bay for another day

I’m sorry but when did this notion come about that computers are 1) inexpensive at the bleeding edge and 2) that you have to have the latest greatest to get anything done? Complaining that launches of components on the latest and greatest architecture/process/chipset etc are not budget friendly...

USB 3 data transfer rates is such a nice upgrade I never even realised was holding the Pi back. The foundation really has done a good job making it into the jack of all trades SoC

I would take some random Aptio bios on a socket 775 Dell Optiplex over Gigabyte's UEFI bios... Ive never had a more frustrating time trying to turn off CSM support than on an Aorus board.
