There's probably a panel somewhere else in the room, perhaps where the TV itself will mount assuming what OP showed us is the panel for where an entertainment unit will be. Otherwise vice versa.
Gamers Nexus tested the effects of PBO and AutoOC shown in a video here and basically found that with sufficient cooling, you're basically not going to gain anything out of PBO and AutoOC over what Precision Boost 2 already does. And even with insufficient cooling they found that it still didn't...
Yeah I raised it to 1.475v and I'm pulling that when I use the profile and it seems fine.
I have the Noctua NH-D15, in the CoolerMaster H500P Mesh case.
I have some pictures of it here if you're interested.
While true, the amount of money OP is looking to spend is pretty close anyway, though the S2000 Pro is a bit out of his budget.
But he could go down to an Edifier R2000DB which is well within his budget and going to be better than the recommendations I've seen in this thread.
I personally would recommend just getting the Edifier S2000 Pros and be done with it. The important thing with bluetooth is what codec it uses, and generally if you're using aptx or higher, you'll barely notice a difference between that and a physical line.
The Edifiers are bluetooth 4.0 with...
I would recommend the M40x's instead of the M30 and the M50 as well, and definitely get better pads for them, maybe something from Brainwavz (although their recent sale on lambskin pads is gone now). But I also suggest the CoolerMaster MH751's as a competitor to the M40's, the CoolerMasters are...
I think it should be fine if you have bluetooth/wifi streaming being handled by a Chromecast or a small bluetooth receiver plugged into your TV.
You can have the TV output to whatever stereo receiver, and I don't think it'll be a problem if you just have stereo run to the speakers, but if you're...
Personally, I'd recommend something like Edifier or Swan studio monitors instead of Logitech or anything in the <$150 price range.
They're just better, Logitech used to be regarded as pretty decent in budget audio but mainly because there was barely any good competition back then, but nowadays...
Personally I feel like if you want to have a monitor in portrait, you use a curved monitor. It's just so much more comfortable to look at considering its height, and the glare at the top and bottom is basically negligible if you have a curve.
For just horizontal, personally I like it, but it's...
Yes mine is stable at 4.4, though I haven't gamed extensively in it yet. I set voltage cap to 1.475V and it seems to help stabilise it since at 1.45 CB R20 crashed sometimes. Not sure if the CB crashes were coincidental, or if the 0.25V increase actually did help. It didn't seem like I was...
I have the 3700X and the NH-D15 as well, it's Winter here down under at the moment so I idle at 27C.
While gaming (depending on the game and duration) I go up to about 35-40C for a moderately intensive game.
Running Auto-OC with every limit turned up to max, and running multiple Cinebench R20...
This is the highest I've gotten on CB R20 an all core OC on my 3700X at 4.4GHz.
Like Lopri, I can't get much higher than about 5k with just auto-OC, the CPU just doesn't go over 4.2GHz no matter what I do and the scores reflect that.
Just thought I'd add my experience with my 3700X here.
I have the Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 7 mobo, Noctua NH-D15 cooler, the CoolerMaster H500P mesh case with it's huge dual 200mm intake fans and three extra NZXT 140mm exhaust fans so my cooling is about as baller as air cooling gets.
Idle...
