Do nForce2 Ultra 400 boards require 2 DIMMs?

If you use 1 DIMM then you will just run in single channel mode. They are not like old RAMBUS boards which requried pairs.

Yes, Logitech likes to blast the bass to fool people into thinking they are great speakers. The frequency range, overall, is very uneven and thus I am not a big fan of them. However, for your average gamer/music listener out there, they are just fine.

CRT vs. LCD - Is it time to switch yet?

The fact that the native resolution on most LCDs is 1280x1024 is enough reason for me not to purchase one. I want the CORRECT aspect ratio of 4:3, give me a native res of 1280x960 and I will think about it.

Kingston HyperX vs Cosair Twinx

Crucial had great memory 3 years ago. If you want tight timings for DDR400 speeds then stay far away from Crucial. I had a stick of their pc3200 and it couldn't overclock at all, using the laxest timings I could.

I am trying Nero 5.5 I just popped in a 4x DVD-R disc and it gives me options to burn it at 2x and at 2.4x. Are DVD-Rs even capable at doing 2.4? I thought only +R could do 2.4x. . . .

KT3 Ultra with AMD XP 2500 barton?..will it work?

What exactly does SPD set the memory timings to?

It basically sets it to the default speed as set by the internal memory. Each memory chip gives some kind of signal telling the mobo what the default speeds are. Setting it to SPD will accomplish this.

Motherboard light is ON but Computer won't Start

Double check all the jumper settings and such. Also, try unplugging your PSU for a few hours to let the capacitors drain and then boot up again. I had an issue like this before with an incompatible PSU.

I couldn't boot windows so I loaded a DOS boot disk and did a copy C:\mydocuments\*.* D:\docbak Basically, I have one big file on my D drive now called docbak, I guess it didn't automatically make a director called docbak like I had hoped. Anyone know of a method by which I can get the files...

Finding the Liteon 811s DVD-Writer in Canada?

The only place I have seen it for sale is at Newegg, who does not ship for Canada. It is only around $15 more and you get +8x writing, so it makes sense to spend the extra cash on it but I Cannot find it anywhere in Canada for the life of me. Anyone know of a place where I can order one?

Speakers: Logitech vs. Klipsch

I would go with Klipsch. The problem with the Logitechs is that their satlites are not so hot and they try to make up for it with the sub. They certainly have a lot of bass but it does not blend in well with the mid-lows and mid ranges nearly as well as Klipsch speakers do.
