win98se freezing on shutdown

What could be the reason for Win98se to freeze on shutdown? BTW, 'Disable fast shutdown' is checked in system configuration utility.

I have an EPS image in illustrator and I want to place it into pagemaker. I have tried draging it, copy/paste, and still the image in pagemaker looks jagged- not smooth like in illustrator. Any suggestions? <> TheyCallMeDeuce

HELP ME PLEEEEASE!

Check the jumpers on the CD first. Next check to see if the cable is making good contact with the CDRom and the mobo. If you are just upgrading software then none of this should matter. Try removing any extra devices in the device manager then reboot. I had a similar problem with my scanner...

Monitor calibration- especially with photoshop

I did like the one that came with photoshop, but (and this is kind of insignificant) most games, like Half-Life appear very dark. I can make up for this somewhat by just adjusting the brightness, but it just does not look as good.
