I haven't had WoW crash in many months. If you're getting crashes, it's not WoW or the 97.92s. (8800 GTX / E6600 @ 3.2ghz here)

Conroe users, don't worry about high temperatures

I've got a Big Typhoon and a 6600 @ 3.2 (1.45v) and the max I see is 62ish C, and that's only when it's warm in this room, and running two instances of Prime95 or Super PI. Though, the fan on the Typhoon is pretty quiet. I bet I could get much lower temps if I stuck a higher CFM fan on there...

Firing Squad w/ Crossfire Using two video cards, there is a noticable difference. Though, it seems outside, Oblivion is still GPU bound even with XFire.

Recm'd me an affordable backup solution..

Depends on how serious they are about saving their data. RAID 1 would nearly eliminate hard drive failure (number one reason for data loss), while and offsite backup solution would be nearly 100% safe in all cases. Then there is everything in between ;-)
