screensaver problem..

when ever i had screensaver on, if i press a key or move my mouse.. the screensaver returns me back to the desktop.. however, the screensaver sometimes closes/shutsdown the focused running application/program by itself for some unknown reason.. does any oneknow what causes the screensaver to...

i currently using 2 usb mice on my computer(one for gaming another one for browsing the web).. both are plugged in all the time.. i have patched my usb port to enable 250 hz sampling rate. however, only one mouse is able to run at 250hz.. the other one only runs at 100hz.. is there a way to...

hi, how do you adjust cdrom cache in winxp/ force winxp to refresh the cdrom cache? i'm having problem reading my cdr's today, because whenever i place a cd into the drive, the window's explorer and dos prompt shows the exact same contents as if it were the cd that i just took out.. however...

i've been using winxp's fax service.. it works very well for me anyway.. fyi, it's actually the strip down version of winfax.. a good fax software to recommend would be winfax..

afaik, you're looking for a web application(according to your description) that does content management and data mining.. i don't think there are free ones out there.. you'll most likely have to buy it.. for the images, database only deals standard data types.. if you want to store images in...

i need help with window xp's fat32 file system.

yesterday, i was creating a fold on my hdd using windows explorer.. i accidentally name the directory/folder, "test "(without quotations).. the space character in the folder/directory name is giving problem when i try to delete/remove the directory as the windows explorer gives me error message...

i used to be able to connect my own ftp or password protected http server by typing in url like this: http://user:Password@myftp.com or ftp://user:Password@myhttp.com, but that doesn't work anymore.. i'm getting 'this page can't be displayed errror screen in ie'.. does anyone know what's wrong...

About the half-life 2 ATI deal

if you want to valve/ati to send you the game cd by mail, you'll have to mail in your hl2 code along with the proof of purchase.. however, if you decided to download hl2 via steam instead, you don't have to mail ati anything..

BEST VIDEO CARD 4 $

i paid $75 for a new 9500np 64mb last month.. i think it's a good deal.. so far, i'm able to run most of the games at 1024x756x32 smoothly except halo and dx:iw.. you need to do some search and you should be able to find one..
