I tried this system out at Wally World, as I thought it was an interesting design. For what it's worth, IMHO, I found it to be one of the most gawd-awful sounding mini-systems I had ever heard. It was lacking in clarity, and the bass was nonexistent.
Please don't take offense, but the term "Clean Coal" would be a joke, were it not for the pollution resulting from its acceptance into the American lexicon. Actually, you have to hand it to the proponents of this outdated technology (coal producers, their politicians, etc.) that they've managed...

I picked up one of these last night. They had both 12 and 22 digit s/n boxes - I grabbed one with 22 (thinking it might be a Mitsumi,) opened it, and found a 32x12x48 AOpen drive. Can anyone offer insight on this drive?
