Opinion on Avaratec Laptops? (5110H)

How to??? Filter AC current out... ?

We want to keep the DC signal, not filter it out, so you use a low pass filter with a pole at say 5 Hz to pass frequencies below 5Hz and to filter out frequencies higher than 5Hz.

Win Xp and Abit NF7-S !

I just installed the nf7-s for my computer. Perhaps you should try reinstalling WinXP again? About the cable thing, if you're using the onboard ethernet controller with WinXP, you have to install the drivers from the nf7-s cd. Under XP, I had quite a few Unknown devices in device manager...

NF7-S, A7N8X, or 7NJS....

I also got the nf7-s, and as it turns out, nf7-s does come with SATA and firewire ;) Great board for a decent price!

NF7-S rev 2

I haven't heard anything about a rev.2. Do you have any links or anything? Reason is b/c I just bought the nf7-s. Installed this past weekend without a hitch. Very nice board. :D btw, if you wait too long, you might just end up playing a perpetual waiting game for the nForce2 ;)

what size are you looking for? If you're getting a hard drive for the kids, then I agree with heartsurgeon. Get an older, smaller sized hard drive for a cheap price, and that should go a long way with that computer. I would, however, recommend getting a "7200 rpm" hard drive (basically faster...

If I can't get an Epox 8RDA+, then what?

The non '+' version of the 8RDA is in supply at most places and is cheaper than the '+' version. From what I know, the major differences are 2 vs. 6 channel audio, and onboard LAN.

Was Warcraft a big disappointment for you?

Does anyone think that perhaps War3 was a testing ground or warm up for a future release of starcraft 2? Maybe blizzard wanted to perfect the new game engine on war3 first. It did have the starcraft cutscene at the end of the game and the hidden hydralisk :) . *IMHO*
