UD Server Bites the Big One! *UPDATE*

I've got systems running in dusty areas which the users leave on for months at a time (love NT)... I've had a few problems with CPU fans not spinning back up after the branch having a power outage or moving the PC. If it's been, like, six months of continuous uptime, open the case and use some...

    AMD ATHLON XP 2000+ Cheap!!

According to what I heard from two AMD reps last week, the prices dropped to make room for the 2600 and 2800, and the MP prices dropped this week in anticipation of Hammer... But they may have been blowing smoke at me, because I build systems and that's what I wanted to hear... ;D

FOLDING@HOME GUI CLIENT QUICK START GUIDE POSTED!

Hi, guys & gals... Just an FYI, as I haven't seen it posted yet, there is a new Mac OS X client, both GUI and CLI, available for Folding@Home. Version numbers are 2.19a and 2.19, respectively. I've been looking to switch my machines over from S@H now that the race with DSLR is over, and I'm...

    CONGRATULATIONS TEAM ANANDTECH!

:D Yeah, baby! Whew. Finally! I thought this race would never end! It's been real, guys, but my RC5 numbers have REALLY taken a beating, and I'm just barely gaining rank most days. Think I'll give Berkeley's bandwidth a wide berth for awhile and go back to dnet... OK, well, maybe just one WU...

JW, question: I have PCs at work here that cannot send ANYTHING to OK's proxy; simply hangs up and says "Will try again in one hour..." and that's all she wrote. I have the machines close, luckily, so I turned off the proxy use today and BAM, flow happens, but not through OK's queue. Is this a...

ROCK components call! if you got it send it!

By the way, I have a big box full of 140W power supplies. I ripped them from small minitowers with MicroATX mobos when we assimilated another company. ROCK components call! if you got it send it!

Narzy, I just talked with my IT Director today about what I'm going to do with a bunch of older Gateway PCs, mostly Pentium 90s or better.
