abit kt7 raid with amd 950 t-bird ocing issues

when you say you upped the voltage..what was the setting? you can try 1.85, that might help.. also your ram just might not be able to handle the overclock, generic ram is not the best for this sort of thing..the best for the price is crucial pc133, there are plenty of other brands that will let...

any info on the seti team?

ok only a few more questions..hehe, I'm getting alittle instability now, when I run the gui screensaver my machine is fine it'll run all day and night with no errors,cpu temps top out at 51c, with the cli I'm starting to get some crashes now, temps are alittle higher 53c, is this version that...

Voltage change causing problems

do you mean you raised it to 1.85? I had the A7v and its a very shaky board, it doesn't like to up the fsb hardly at all..I talked to alot of people and found out that alot of them had the same problem as me..I couldn't up my fsb above 104 with a 900 tbird.. that could attribute to the problem...

any info on the seti team?

ok I installed the cli and seti driver, I left the seti client priority on low..is this ok? and now do I let it run all the time? I was liking the screen saver because it would run when I wasn't using the pc.. If I want to run like that do I exit the seti driver when using the pc and start it...

I have a radeon 64 and I can't run 3d marks 2001, it tells me the 3d accelerator is not supported, then another message says not enough video memory.. anyone else have this problem?

Crucial Case 2 or Mushkin rev 1.5

I've bought several 256Mb sticks of mosel from instarain from the for sale/trade forum here at anand..they are rated at 157 2-2-2... they are 98.50 shipped, they arrived in 2 days.. and I'm now running them at the 150 2-2-2... good luck

What Temp is to high?

I'm running a 1ghz t-bird @1.2 150x8, my idle temp is around 34c, under max load 50c, I've heard 60c is the danger zone, if you start seeing temps that high then start thinking about clocking back down or getting better cooling...

running much better now, I have the screen saver blacking out in 1 min, did 46% in 2 hours 40 mins....thanks for the help guys

1.80V??

I have come across the same thing..these mobo monitars seem to add abit to the number..my old asus a7v, always read vcore as 1.90, when I had it set to 1.85

anyone else going to nef the night away?

I'm up for the night, tomorrow I start a night shift, so I want to try and stay up all night tonight and sleep real late, to get used to it..so it looks like I'm gonna read these threads until the sun is shining tomorrow..I should be going alittle nuts by 3am:confused:

I think what happened was I turned off the screensaver and just let the program run from the system tray..now I have the screensaver set to go off and blank screen set at 2 min...

wow I can't imagine that I'd be that far off..29hrs vs 5 hrs. are we talking about the same thing? on the seti client where it says user info..its says data units completed 1, and it says total computer time 29 hrs 13 min..there should not be anything else running in the background.. and I have...

Hey man I popped in that 1ghz and immediatly went for 150x8 to see if my ram could handle it, this rig is running rock stable..temps are great, idle at 34c, ran seti for a couple hours, max load 50c..I'm not even going to try and top out yet, I'm just happy as hell I finally got a stable oc...

New 1.2GHz Thunderbird's doing 1.466GHz easily at 60 C.. Will it do higher?

do you know what the max vcore setting is on your board? I think the older msi k7t only went to 1.80, I'm just curious if msi addressed this issue..
