Maxtor 40GB 5400 $79 at BB

I went to my local BB in Texas (Katy) and purchased a Maxtor 40GB 5400 for $99, with an unexpected rebate gift card for $20. With gift card rebate = $79. Not to bad I guess, if all you do is shop for crap at BB.:)

I know exactly what your taliking about....right click the taskbar->click properties->under taskbar appearance, uncheck Group Similar taskbar buttons;)

Which way should a Delta BL Fan blow on to SK6 HS?

I was told that the Delta BL fan @38CFm should blow into the SK6 HS and not blow the heat out. I have 39C now with the fan blowing into the HS.

Dropped my CPU temp from 44-45C to 38-39C no load and 48-50C to 40-41C with load, using the SK6 and Delta BL fan (which is loud as hell)...I think my computer is about to taxi down the runway....;)

Need a new HSF for 1.333AMD

I am looking for objective ideas and opinions for a new HSF for my AMD 1.333. Currently I have the Coolermaster 6I111 and CPU temps w/ no load are about 43-44C and with loads, 48-50C, ambient temps of the case are 22-24C, room temp 74-76F...I am debating the Taisol or SK6 or Alpha coolers, any...

Can't burn a thing with Plextor 12/10/32A!!!!!!

Put in another burner, and it worked fine....somethings up with my Plextor,...crap!:( Update Just out of curiosity I removed the new burner and replaced the Plextor, and guess what....POS WORKED!!!!...This is what I did...reinstalled Win2K, I initially had the HD partitioned in 2 sections...

I'm just using the thermal pad that came with the HS ....With MBM5,...which is the sensor for the CPU?

CPU Temp 84C with core voltage 1.34!!!!!!!

on my AMD 1.333 not overclocked i have this sucker reading temps of 84 C with no load!!! It's on an Iwill KK266R and Coolermaster 6I11. I plan on getting a better HS/Fan combo, I just need some advice. BTW I have an Inwin case w/ 300W PS.

How many 1.33 are AXIA or AYHJA?

I got one at Axiontech on Saturday, for $157 and it was the AYHJA stepping. They had about 6 left ( I got number 7). I'm using a coolermaster and it ain't coolin'!...temps for the CPU with no load average between 40-56C! I need a new CPU Fan heatsink combo...any ideas?

In Houston,like it says in the title...I went by yesterday morning, and all of their Iwill KK266 and KK266R where out of stock,...they offered to replace it with the Soyo MOBO, which I did not want, so I just decided to do the waiting game again.
