    Well...iPhone aside...all I have to say is Blackjack...and I'm an owner. 1 day of battery life is unacceptable, and Cingular agreed..hence the free extended battery offer (and selling the extended battery standard with purchases now).

    See, that's interesting. I have 2 original first gens (I bought them when they first came out and Cingular had the exclusive), and both still work flawlessly....coming up on 2 years now. Granted, I've modded one of the phones somewhat (firmware upgrades and whatnot), but I have no real complaints.

    Didn't the 8 series have horrible electric problems, and that's one of the reasons they stopped selling them? I personally found the 8 Series to be a very sharp car (it's on my list of cars to own that I haven't yet), but my dim recollection of those problems weighs heavily.
