Question [Planning] New AMD based build for gaming and simulation.

Returned the B550 Gaming Plus and bought X570 Tomahawk. Not a great decision but what the heck lol :D Also, bought Asus Tuf gaming M3 mouse + a Chinese 'mechanical' RGB backlit keyboard with Outemu switches. Tomhawk was a bit costly, sooo.... Next up, cpu+ram!

Question Corsair 465X vs LianLi 215 ?

Sorry guys, I just bought the DF600 FLUX and cancelled the LianLi 215. I was a bit too concerned with gpu temps and I thought the reverse psu top fan would help. Let me see how it goes.

Question Corsair 465X vs LianLi 215 ?

So, I bought the 215 for my upcoming AMD build (AMD 5000cpu+6000gpu). But, it's said that mounting a CLC in the front is not ideal (360mm or 280mm). Corsair 465X shouldn't have a problem, right? I can cancel the order and get the Corsair 465X or any other if there is any issue mounting CLC...

Got a massive discount on LianLi 215. So, bought it instead of the Corsair 465X. I'm hoping it can handle some mild overclocking on gpu and cpu without changing the stock fans.

Hmm... the prices went up lol :D. It's not much of a deal now. Btw, I returned the Antec DF600 case. I thought it was DF600 flux but it was not. There are some decent cases including LianLi 215 and Corsair 465X. Corsair 465X is better for CLC, right?

Discussion Intel current and future Lakes & Rapids thread

Any idea on when the Desktop Rocket Lake launches? Should be at least 10% faster than the 10th gen, right? I'm sick of websites selling AMD processors at a premium over here. And I'm thinking of going with Intel for my upcoming build.

Question Zen2 CPU prices Increasing; Not a good sign for Zen3?

So, today, there were some decent price cuts for AMD processors here but MSI Tomahawk B550 & x570 prices went up. But yeah, Intel 9th gen stuff is really cheap now. 9700F ==10600 & 9700kf==10600K. Also, the Avenger versions of Intel 10th gen are getting more affordable too.

Meanwhile, AMD Ryzen prices going up and Intel 10th gen prices plummet (relatively of course). If it goes like this, I might be getting 10700+Z490 tomahawk instead of 3700+Z570 tomahawk.

IMO, it's just pure supply vs demand! It's not just AMD processors, motherboard (X570) prices too are increasing over here. It's possible to get an Intel i7 10700+Z490 combo cheaper than the Ryzen 3700X+X570. I'm in the middle of an upgrade and its frustrating to see AMD stuff getting pricier...

That Tomshardware reivew is pretty convincing! So, I made a good choice, right ? BTW, I still like that 460W Seasonic platinum fanless PSU. But, I might be getting a top end next gen video card next year. So, 460W might be a bit restrictive. Anyway, thanks for the encouraging words!

How about raising the case so that bottom fan dust issue? It should work, right ? BTW, I had a look at the Antec P120 crystal. Its got top mounted PSU but the bottom intake fan airflow wasn't that great according to the Gamernexus review. Its feet was obstructing the fan. Unfortunately, P600...

Discussion Seasonic PSU won't turn on unless given "rest"!

Ok, I got my pc back. It boots without an issue...as of now. They said to have replaced some chip (still they aren't open about it) and removed the mem slot 0 & 1 short. Need to check the motherboard for any fresh solder marks and spot the said chip.
