Hi Kelvrick - They have somewhat similar ballistics (7.62 x 39 is better IMHO) but I was trying to make the point that at some point your stockpiled ammo will run out and you want to have the capability to shoot whatever you can get your hands on. These are the most (I believe) readily...

Good compact semi-auto rifle?

Become proficient with most any reasonable set of reliable firearms in common calibers and then cheap and plentiful ammo is the key. I would recommend; 22 lr 12 ga 9 x 19 mm .223 (5.56) 7.62 x 39 procure the weapons and then practice. As for carbines, I'm partial to the storm

interesting... I ordered on the 26th and mine arrived today as well. I've got the newer standard cooler, not the heat pipe one. bit I've also got an accelero s1 with turbo module for it so the cooler is coming off right away anyway.

YMMV: STALKER for $12 at Half Price Books

Personally, I though that this game was great. Some minor gripes, but overall deserving of the 8.2/10 and maybe more. If you haven't played it yet, pick it up and give it a try (if this type of game is your cup of tea, that is). Be sure to install the patches first since they will make earlier...

my parents could have but would have had to take a 2nd on their house, and they were paying my sister's way through. I chose to work my way through, took 1.5 extra years but ended up not owing them any money. sadly, working your way through is not really possible any more, even in the state...

hi, i have to agree with some of the others. a used springfield xd is the way to go if you can find it. if not, or if you really want a new gun, get the ruger p?? series. they are not glamorous but they are very reliable and not fussy with ammo, in my experience. good luck

hi, i'm running my 4300 on the gigabyte s3 at 3 ghz on the xp-90 and it cools just fine. but you do need the adapter kit as zagood said. i bought mine from svc.com if you're not in calif, even better since no tax.
