what's best board for amd/intel?

I would steer away from Intel if you can! The extra money for the processor isn't worth it IMO! Pick up a T-Bird! If you have a lot of cash, go for the AMD760 chipset motherboard and pair it with DDR Ram, or go for a KT133a chipset board! The KT133a rocks! I have a Abit KT7A-RAID and this...

Does the AMI RAID controller on the IWill Kk266R support ATA33/66/100?

<< All the stats on the controller chip itself are here. (The PCI card pictured is the RAID chip in the Iwill board. It has all the same stats and options exactly.) It definately supports ATA66 drives for RAID. Not sure if it supports ATA33, but most likely it does since almost every IDE device...

Well Asus A7V133 has one upped the Iwill already................

I just purchased a A7V133 revision 1.05. I don't think they enabled any other RAID modes. The manual, which was printed in Jan 2001 still states RAID 0 support only! I don't use RAID so I really don't know what would happen with the jumper set to RAID mode. I should have my tbird 1.2/266 on...

AGP Fast Write Enable question

The voodoo line of cards do not actually support AGP. They are basically PCI cards mounted on an AGP slot. They get the same performance numbers as a PCI banshee card does. Same with the Voodoo 3. That is why it shows as being disabled...

FIC AZ11E for AMD T-bird - Comments/Suggestions?

I just built a Duron 700@900 with this motherboard for my Wife! The board is rock solid! It hasn't locked up once, and has been on for about a month straight without a reboot. I was skeptical at first as I try to stay with big name board manufacturers, but this board gets my thumbs up!

What are the latest board revisions of A7V133, Abit KT7A, and the Epox 8KTA3?

I just purchased a A7V133. It is revision 1.05. My VIA chips are week 6 2001. The Promise chip is week 51 2000. This board kicks butt with my Tbird 1.2/266!
