Don't forget no AC and the heater boxes were problematic. They seem to run forever though if you keep up the maintenance. Only car I've ever seen with no oil filter, just a screen!
How 'bout car seat protectors? My boys are 6 and 8 now and we still use them under their booster seats. I know I'm jinxing myself but so far they have done the trick and, as they are heavier than a cover, they also help to prevent the car seat "dent" from the hard plastic bases.
Our biggest...
No winter driving that thing around here;)
Personally I like the older C3 but they had frame rot problems. Most of the newer corvettes I see on the road are driven close to the speed limit and are very well taken care of. I say go for it. The Z06 is an awesome car and hey if you drive it for a...
nope don't get involved... unless you want to do it for him/with him then charge a tiny bit or have him get your coffees for the week. If you work on cars you know about fluid on belts, stripped bolts, hot exhaust, lube o rings before install etc. If you tell him he can do it and then he can't...
Hi
A little late on this but I've have this trailer from northern for 10 years
http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200356493_200356493
I was going to buy a smaller one but got something that took a sheet of plywood. I ended up using it a lot more than I ever thought I would. If...
Good points about the hard top convertibles and with the sports my kids do I'd need some trunk space. The Mustang is a nice looking car and we do have a Ford dealer nearby
sigh... yes I want something sporty however that's just not gonna happen. Needs to have kid space and an automatic plus fairly inexpensive (~10-15K) and pretty mainstream as far as maintenance/repair. The four choices I put up seem to fit that bill but maybe I'm missing something. The Solara...
I am afraid of the Solara being just another Camry especially as I drive a '96 for ten years. I need something reliable and family oriented too so that's a big factor... otherwise Id be getting a older Miata!
phucheneh... No worries. You weren't knocking the car, you were stating the obvious, Lol.
I believe the Solara's were made from the same body so the seatings should be the same so thanks for the info!
I would prefer the Boxster but yeah family car and out of my budget!
Kind of afraid...
too funny about the Sebring...
It was actually a nice car and we got a lot of use out of it. My boys loved riding in the back and my wife realized how nice a drop top is. It did have some problems and the last nail in the coffin was when it dropped a ball joint only going ~ 30 mph. I had just...
Hello All
I'm getting the itch for a convertible again. I had a 1996 Sebring a couple years a go but had to let it go. I need 4 seats and automatic as this will be a family car as well. Other than that I am looking for opinions or problems with these models. I'm leaning toward the Solara as...
Highlander...
We bought one in 2003 before the third row seating was even an option. V6 2wd. loved everything about it. It now has 112000 miles on it and still runs just fine. Its my daily driver. Last year we needed another car and looked at both the pilot AWD and the Highlander AWD and...
Updated itunes and now the iPhone will not charge off the front ports either. If i set it to not open itunes with phone is connected then it will charge. Very odd
Just as an addition The older Dell has two 1.1 USB ports in the front of it that I never use. I just tried those and they will charge the iphone.
I did try unplugging my other USB devices and it didn't seem to make a difference
Hello
I'm not sure how to word this. It seems that my iPhone 3GS will only charge off of its wall cube that i use at home. I am quite sure it used to charge off of my work computers, a Dell precision 340 running XP and an iMac ~2009 OS X 10.5.8 which also runs Vista OS with boot camp. I don't...
Jake: Well thank you, pal. The day I get out of prison, my own brother comes to pick me up in a police car.
[Elwood and Jake stop in front of an opening drawbridge]
Elwood You don't like it?
Jake: [pause] No, I don't like it.
[Elwood jumps the car over the bridge]
Jake: [impressed] Car's...
Just curious... I think you said 330 for a temp. Im guessing Celsius? I work around 400 degrees celsius and thats with a good water wash flux. Hard to tell your pin/pad size but you may need to go a little hotter even. As others have said it would be nice if you had some scrap stuff to...
Hello all
I have an Asus EeePc 1005HA that I got this spring. I've only used it about a dozen times and the battery will not charge. It had not been used for about two months. I was hoping to find out if it is really the battery or if I have some other problem. It appears that the PC "sees" the...
We had a "96 Camry that had over 200K on it. It was always maintained at dealer. The only issue we had is the exhaust was quite expensive when it finally let go. I'm not familiar with the newer ones but ours was about $1200 to fix at the dealer. I ended up fixing on my own much cheaper but...
Okay I've not been looking at this for a while but I finally have some extra cash and was going to try a netbook hackintosh. It appears that the current Dells (1010, 1012, and 1018) are not fully compatible. Is this true and is there a good choice for a netbook that would work well? I've seen...
