ATI Radeon 8500 64MB, need your help -movie problem

Hmm, have no idea, how do I check that in win xp? During some of the ati installations I got a warning that was suggested might have to do with dma not enabled on my hdd!? I didn't bother looking into it cause I have no clue where to start.. Must say I feel a bit lost..

ATI Radeon 8500 64MB, need your help -movie problem

Got two problems with my ATI Radeon 8500 64MB: DVD and AVI movie window appears black on TV. I can see my desktop and all on my TV but movies appear as a black window, at the same time it looks fine on my monitor showing the movie in corresponding window. What do I do wrong, how do I get it...

Does the slotket for cely466MHz fit together with a Cely1,4GHz?

Ah ok, thanks! What about the 1.0GHz celeron II? Do they work with the same slocket as tualatin celerons? I see they are called fcpga and fcpga2 celerons right?

Does the slotket for cely466MHz fit together with a Cely1,4GHz?

Can I use the same slotket as I do now with my Celeron 466MHz on an Abit BF6 slot1 mobo if I upgrade to a Celeron 1,4GHz? If not what do I need, are they hard to find? Thanks

My AMD 1,4GHz is running at 69-74 degrees C, is that normal?

Thanks a lot! I've got to check my vcore voltage and see what can be done. Just checked cpu temp in bios, says 59 degrees c when my Asus pc prob software tells me 66 degrees.. just like you guys say -can't fully trust the readings.. But I feel I'm on the right track now, thanks.

Hmm, maybe my cooling is insufficient, bought an EKL PAPST CPU-fan w/ball bearing for Socket A up to 1,4 GHz, or XP1900+. Will one of those cupper things for AMD CPUs you put between CPU and heat sink help? Btw, the program I'm using to monitor the temperature is software that came with my mobo...

Just bought a 1,4 GHz AMD Athlon(Thunderbird), and it's operating temperature is somewhere between 69 and 74 degrees Celsius. Is that normal? My system seems stable anyway. Thanks Frolic

Why is Hercules 3D Prophet 8500 128MB DDR cheaper than ATI Radeon 64Mb?

Computer doesn't recognize upgrade, 233 to amazing 350MHz..

Great, Nero was included when I bought my burner, just havn't installed it since I don't need it to burn data-cd in XP. I'll give it a try, thanks for the tip.

How's a V3's TV-out? (compared to a Radeon 8500)

As far as I know the hardware is the same. Can't remember where I read it but you can fix this and ATI is very unhappy about that fact spreading...
