How much faster is a 7200 RPM HD compared to a 5400 one? That is, how noticable is the difference in speed? Oh, one more question: how many of you use 80+ gigs of HD space? I have a 25gb drive and I have about 18.5 gigs free. Most of my space is occupied by some 1000 or so MP3s.

Is it me or have the SB Live cards become problematic because of drivers?

I just installed my new TB Santa Cruz about 2 weeks ago and my computer freezes up sometimes during boot. I'm not totally sure if they're related, but I do think it's an odd coincidence. Then again, I mess with my HD too much.

are the toshiba dvd roms any good?

They're great. I have a Toshiba dual-DVD player (not for my comp.) and they're really great quality because their bandwidth is very large. Unlike many other brands, my Toshiba can read bandwidths of foreign DVDs (I just bought a copy of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on DVD from China...thanks...

What's the best way to label CD's?

Either a Sharpie or any other permanent pen. I had a stomper, but after a while, it took too much effort for a cheapo CD. Plus sticker replacements are kinda expensive.
