Flash a Zyxel 645M to 645R?

Sprint gave me the stupid disabled version of the zyxel 645, the M version that only allows one dhcp address to be given out, and nat port forwarding doesn't even work. Does anyone know if and how I might be able to 'fix' the router and enable the features that are disabled on it? If not, does...

Make sure you try the proc, I thought it was my mobo once and it ended up my athlon was fried... the lower fan was flaking out.

Help with my boot problems

Try doing a diag on the memory. An easy and cheap program is DocMemory There are others, but this is free. Just boot up to this program and let it run. http://www.simmtester.com/PAGE/products/doc/docinfo.aspDocMem

Laptop accessing CD drive intermittently

It's probably just a background program checking for a cd in the drive, try shutting off autoplay with tweakUI for 98 or XP.

Flash memory card as RAM??

BSEagle1, No, you wouldn't want to even if you could. Flash memory is much slower, even slower than an HD sometimes. If you want, you could use it like a floppy disk, but if you had nowhere else to transfer it to, it would be pretty much useless. Your best bet would be to buy a new camera...

Windows XP and Bootmagic

I'm really messed up. I KNOW I can save my data. but I don't to have to re-install if I don't have to. I've got 3 hard drives, one 40 gig divided up into 2 Fat32 partitions, with windows 98se. That install of 98 is a little glitchy, but better than nothing.. I'll probalby end up phasing it...

I HATE the xp file searcher. Is there a way to get a regular simple file search window like 98 to come up by default? Also, I've had a weird situation where media player crashes when playing and writing to cd at the same time, so I've got it all up and running and using another cd writing...

Sure, you can do that, but from what I hear the real problem is that Sprint PCS DOES have bad service, that's why they give these deals.... I'd rather have reliable, clear cell service than a bunch of crappy service I can't rely on.. plus you have to beg and whine to get it at those prices...
