9600 Pro - seems king of bang/buck now?

Note that the "less expensive" Powercolor 9600Pro has 400MHz memory instead of 600MHz memory. This will result in a slight loss in performance over the 600MHz version.

Do you know how the 5200 compares to the 8500? Does the 128MB of RAM on the 5200 give it a performance edge over the 64MB on the 8500?

Driver Help: PCI Host Bridge

I just bought a new motherboard for my system (ECS K7S5A Pro) and put it in without reinstalling windows. Everything configured properly except a "PCI Host Bridge". It is recognized as a "PCI Standard Host CPU Bridge", but I'm not sure where to tell it to find the driver. Any suggestions?

ATI All-in-Wonder. If you are a gamer, get the Radeon version. If you are not a gamer, you could probably settle for the Rage 128 Pro version. I didn't search around, but I know that the Radeon retail version can be had for $201 shipped and the Rage 128 Pro retail version is around $129...

If you watch DVDs and don't care about maxing out FPS in 3D-gaming, then you do not want a GeForce2. I've heard several people dissatisfied with 2D performance on a Geforce video card. The Radeon has better 2D than both the Kyro2 and the GeForce2. If you don't mind spending the extra money...

I'm not completely up to speed on RAID, but I can say that the Radeon LE is the best low budget video card on the market right now. It's performance is excellent and the price is even better. I own one and have no problems with it on Win98SE. Those who use Win2K even say that the problems...

For 2D imaging and 3D gaming, try the 32MB ATI Radeon VE. Check out Anand's review here (LINK). For 2D imaging only, try the 32MB Matrox Millennium G450 (LINK). Or you can wait a couple more months to get the G550 (LINK).
