Wait until you get the case, there is only 1 place to put it and it snaps in place, and the directions from Antec say to have it blowing into the case.

I really have no knowledge of computers. But I have built 3 computers without problems. Finacially This is a good time for me to put together 1 more. Now I would like to use a MB with most options such as the P4PE/GBL/SATA/1394 because I may need to keep this computer for quite a while and might...
I do not know what is happening, but thought I would tell you this. Dlinks phone support is good and can probably help you. That is the good part the bad part is that 604 router sucks. I junked mine for a Linksys. Should have done it 6 months earlier. Gene
I have several hours at their web site and printed out some stuff that may help my friend, but aside from that there is nothing useful, and clicking on the FAQ link takes me to a download page. I also would not buy a preconfigured PC. Just trying to help someone that already did.
My friend has a HP computer with XP Home and no restore disk, as that is the way HP wants it so they can sell him a recovery disk.
After searching their web site it says that "the recovery information is stored in a hidden space ( partition) on the hard drive." Question; is there a way to...
I have the 520 and am not at all satisfied with its photo printing, It does not seem to like the thicker photo paper. It seems to me that a lot of the canons don't like paper over 28 lb. If anyone has a workaround for that please let me in on it. Gene
I always found the sound useful to tell if I was getting a good connection or not. But I always kept one connection silent to use at night when others were sleeping, open Dialup network in control panel make a new connection and name it "Quiet connection" then right click it and choose...
You seem to have too many things running thru the UPS, Most only back up 3 devices. Not to mention that you have too much draw on the circuit in the room, it is probably a 15 amp circuit and that 400 watt power supply draws about 4 amps by it's self. Also low voltage on a line can cause a UPS to...
Most automotive stores sell a cleaner for car windows that have been tinted using a plastic window film, and most of the ones I have seen also say that they are safe for CRT and TV screens. I have used them for several years and am quite satisfied.
Sorry about not explaining well, It is the page that lists all the forumsHere. Amd if I am following
Hossenfeffer the large font theme is what I am using and is fine in most places but not all. And changing the text size in the browser does no good either. Thanks again:(
Is there a way to make the text larger on the main page of these forums? I have tried customize but that only seems to enlarge the text in the threads themself. The main page text is so small I can hardly read it on a 19" monitor. Old age has something to do with that I am sure. :confused...
I put 2 computers together with parts from Newegg, Googlegear, Directron and Outpost. The only problem was a very small one with Outpost, but considering the deal they had on the seagate HD, I can live with them also.
It seems you were right. The Bios reports the voltage at 3.29 volts. Now that I can understand the Bios a bit I will just uninstall the software. Thanks for the info.
I am just not very savy about these things. But I think the MB monitor is windows based, It is a program that is included with the Mother board I think MSI calls it "PC Alert III". I am lost in the BIOS, I got far enough to set things on default. As far as system stats I hope this is what you...
I just assembled my first computer. A P4 With a MSI sis 645ultra 333 MB.(MS6547) Everything seemed to be fine until the alarm on the MB monitor went off.
It says my 3.3 voltage is only 0.13 V. The other voltages are 1.73 - 5.08 - 11.8. can this be cured or is something dead.
Any help will be...
I just put together a system buying parts from googlegear, newegg and outpost. The only problem was with outpost( not including the software that was suppose to come with HD). Googlegear had the fastest shipping, but they are the closest to me. I will buy from them again.
I use Seagate disk manager instead of Fdisk/format when installing a new hard drive in a new system. And I have been informed, that installs a "Drive overlay program" That somehow is not good. Am I going about this wrong, or is it allright to use disk manager?:Q
bump: Come on people this is very difficult for me to understand. Most of the expensive (new) cards say they are compatible and I have seen some vodoo cards that say they are not compatible, but most say nothing. I would like a card for less than $100.00
Be compatible with a P4 CPU and if it matters I think this MB. MSI 6547-010 645 ULTRA SIS645 P4 SOCKET478 400MHz FSB 3DDR/5PCI/1AGP/1CNR ATX MOTHERBOARD. If not are there any for under $100.00 Thanks for any input.
I am putting together a new system and would like some advice on cards. I don't believe I need expensive cards. I am now using
SB Live value and ATI 128 expert and they seem to work for me but I really have not used any better ones. I would like TV out, (I think, not sure why) I am not a gamer...
1. will hold a 305mm x204mm motherboard
2. have USB and headphone jacks on the front
3. P4 ready
4. slide out MB tray
5. screwless entry
6. mid tower with at least 7 bays
7. room for 3 fans maybe with filters
8. Have enough room for a clumbsy person to work on
9. would be nice if under $100.00...
bump
This ever case says it will take a 9.5 x 12" motherboard.Does that mean that there is no problem with a board that exact size,305 x244mm. It has most of the features I would like to have,If it just had a slideout MB tray.
