Poll: What resolution do you use in 3D games? (with poll)

10x7 for everything - some games I use 16bit, others 32 bit. Depends on what the performance hit is.

What's a good keyboard to buy?

I use a Logitech Deluxe Access. It's got a few of those internet buttons, but I don't use them. I used to use Key Tronic keyboards and in my opinion they are one of the better, but no one sells them anymore :(.

Check out the new heatsink!

Looks very cool. Until they provide something other than that little clip - I'll pass. I wouldn't put anything that heavy on the CPU without bolts.

Man, I feel for you. That sucks. Do you know anyone with a Pro2-A that will let you hotswap the bios chip? If so, you could try that - just make sure you guys are aware of making a bad situation worse if that goes wrong. Not sure what MSI charges for a BIOS but expect about $25 if they are...

Sandra and memory modules

Thanks for the responses. Everything works with CAS2 settings, so I'm not going to worry about it. Just kind of shocked when I saw the report, since it nailed my other stick dead on.

Best sound card for 4 speaker system is ______.

Have you tried moving the SB to a different slot and not installing the SB16 drivers? (I'm assuming you have, just throwing it out there - just in case)

125 Total O/P on my Power Supply.... WTF?

No, you didn't get ripped off. The 125w is the combined wattage of the +5 & +3.3 feeds. Normally, a 300wt power supply is going to around the 150-170wt range BUT a 450wt PS may have a 300wt combined value. I'm not explaining this very well, but......I hope you understand. Although AMD...

oem or retail?

Most of the time I buy the retail version because, like jhhnn, it gives me piece of mind AND I have had better luck with them. If you are planning on OCing the crap out of it, go OEM - because the warranty is voided anyway. On another note, I see all these cooler reviews for the Tbirds, but...
