nForce cheaper than initially thought?

Hey Hanshurt, are you sure that asus will include Lan? That would be sweet. Also, will the included audio be better than my GTXP? This board would pay for half of itself if so.

I'm not worried about the temperature, I have a hd cooler. Is heat the only problem, or are they many more problems?

According to xbitlabs, the "U Series is the best-performing drive in its class. " Would this class include the 60gxp's? I wouldn't think so because I looked up the stats of the Seagate drive, and it is only 5400 rpm, as opposed to 7200. The Seagate drive can transmit at 54.5 mb/s...

Because inquiring minds want to know: The GeForce 3 Ultra: 128mb of DDR or something different?

There was a rumor on xbitlabs a while ago saying that Hercules would releasea a 128mb geforce 3 I could only guess that it would be a geforce3 ultra

What would you want standard in PC's?

I want to see either dvd-ram or dvd-r made standard, hopefully dvd-ram. I've heard that dvd-ram can be written to and read like a hard drive, not a cd, but dvd-r is written in the same way as cd's.

WOW!!! UT is a brand-new game with Hercules Game Theater XP instead of SB Live!!!

What about the onboard audio of th nforce mobo's coming out? Are they going to whup up on the crystal chip or what? I looked at a comparison on digit-life and that's how it seemed. Did I just buy a gtxp to sell it off in a couple months?

*sigh*....GeForce 3, 1.33Ghz Tbird, 512mb DDRAM and a score of ***1600** on 3DMark and horid Q3 performance-plz help :(

Hey Ph33zy, I don't think win2k is your problem. I have win2k and 98 on my duron 800 system with a geforce3, and I get about 4100 in 3dmark2001. I get around 4300 in win98(that's SE).

How about the "Linkskey" brand over on newegg? I ask because I'm already buying something else from them, so it would be easiest to just buy it all from them. Thanks for the help guys

I currently have a bp6 with cel 366@550, and I would like to upgrade to the best speed I can Is there any other ppga celeron that can o/c to 100mhz fsb as well as the 366? If not, could i get a 500 or so to upgrade to 83 fsb a little better?
