Funny. My Voodoo 3 worked beautifully and NEVER EVER crashed my system like my "state-of-the-art" GeForce 3 Ti200 card. After about 300+ "infinite loop" blue screens, I'm about ready to pull that st00pid a$$ nVidia card out, throw it in the microwave, and watch the sparkly lights. I sure wish...

Fry's Athlon XP 1700(Boxed) + ECS K7S5A: $169

They were gonna give me a raincheck, too....but then I got them to give me a 1600+ box for $20 less. $149 for the mobo + CPU...not bad I guess....I didn't feel like waiting. They'll probably have a better deal in this Friday's ad anyway.....

I've got telocity service here in Mountain View. I've had pretty decent service other than a relatively slow line (425Kbps) and tons of lost or dropped packets. But...the hardware is free, the install is free, you get a static IP, the upload speeds are decent (372Kbps if you're on a SDSL line...
