Best 2.1 Speaker setup for around $60

SATA 300 - Any drives avaialble

They are due out yesterday but it won't matter as it's the same boat that PATA 's in (ie.ATA66/100/133 doesn't peak out) . Even the peak transfer rate for 2 drives in RAID 0 with Raptors drives is still less than 150MBps peaked which is what SATA150 runs on a single line.

    939 CPU

Yep and you need better RAM and Cooling plus have to add some v's to reach the same OC as the 3200. In the totality the price difference favors the 3200 ;)

Seagate 7200.7 performance 80 GB vs 200 GB

Well the 160GB would have 2X80 gig platters as opposed to 100X2 so if htere is a speed increase it would be because of the NCQ and the Mobo must support it to see max gains. Just a thought.

I wouldn't know as I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of the folks over there who wrote: So I don't think reading owner reviews would inform me any more than what I actually heard and enjoyed but I'm sure liking my $<50 EV SonicXS's more :P

    From cassette tape to MP3?

Actually you can get it all in 1 long cord as seen here. If you go the 2 cord route then make sure that there is a female and male end on the 2 seperate 3.5mm jacks so they will connect together.

Not knocking this thread but these Utility Programs all have time limits on updates (ie. Norton, System Suite) so with System Mechanic 5 released...I wonder how long there will be support for 4? I have used System Mechanic3 (decent Utility Program)and when 4 came out, Mechanic 3's updates stopped.

    Harrdrive Copy

The Seagate should be 5yrs as I believe the warranty changed as to when a HD was purchased and not the date on the HD itself so I would contact the vender and check before purchase. On the Ghost ? you can image or make a direct copy of the HD which is what I do. It loads in Dos and guides you...

I agree with Tiamat. You need to chill Subhuman25 because if you would know anything about these drives, there is a difference between the retail and OEM version and while we're @ this backn forth bytes I'll quote a Sig from an Elite member so it'll make you posts shorter :P

    Pioneer A08XL Black

LOL. OK let me repost. For What It's Worth, I use the OEM variety of your burner which is the DVR-108 along with a Pioneer Slot DVD Player and it it's much more quieter then the Slot Drive. Kapish? ;)

    Swapping Hard Drives

You can keep the HD but to get peak performance, because you are switching chipsets, it'll be best to backup your stuffs and do a new install with your current Win2K so there is no need to go out and buy XP but you'll need new drivers with the new Rig/OS, which can easily be had.
