x1800xt - Nvidia equivelant?

With SLI there's no need to buy an overpriced and underperforming master card. You can slap any two cards together (even different brands I think) so long as they use the same chip. The performance gain isn't all that huge, but hey if you got the money go for it.

Best wireless/wired router for 100mb internet

I've been looking at D-Link's DGL-4300 since it has gigabit lan. The problem with most routers they sell here on base is that they say the WAN port is 10/100, but they're not really designed to work with a connection as fast as mine (around 20-30 mbit/s max transfers LAN to WAN/WAN to LAN).

Hi, I live in Japan and have a 100mb fiber optic connection ($70/mo) . Does anybody know which routers will be able to support a connection this fast? I don't want a slow WAN port bogging down my connection. I need it to have wireless too. Thanks.

Help w/ disabling Search Assistant

I don't know when it started, but everytime I log on to WinXP, there's a white box that says "Search Here" and a Search button next to it, located on my Start Bar. I can disable it (Right Click start bar, toolbars, search assistant), but everytime I restart it always comes back. Anybody...

Can SiS 645DX chipset lock pci/agp freq?? Need help finding right mb to o/c.

Yea.. I know the Epox board is based on the 845g. I'm trying to stay away from the 845e cause it doesn't take advantage of DDR333 and the 845g does (this is according to tom's hardware). The SIS 648 chipset looks interesting, w/ AGP 8x support...but I don't feel like waiting for those boards...

I upped the vcore 7.5% and it "seems" to fix things. Doesn't really matter anymore cause seeing the o/c potential of the P4 1.6a has re-awakened the overclocker in me. Looks like I'll be giving this mb/cpu/mem combo to my brother...he could use an upgrade anyway. Thanks for everyone's help...

New ViA 4-in-1 drivers out today too. 4.40(a)P3 Don't have time to install them but it has a new chipset and agp driver. Hope it helps.

....great..gigapoo. It's just too bad none of the intel chipsets have ata133 support (although not much better than ata100). Gigabyte just released a new bios, F7, tonight. I just updated, we'll see if they fixed any real problems w/ it.
