    Looks like the P4a isn't the best bet. Here is one of the recent reviews done that can demonstrate the XP 1800+ beating a P4a 2.0. Link Unless you're able to O/C that P4a to at least 2.4 or better, you're not gonna beat an O/C'ed XP chip.

    EPoX 8K7A+: Was the Win2K/XP QuantiSpeed bug ever fixed?

    I have that board for my Tbird 1.33 OC'ed to 1.47... Never ran into a problem with the bios and XP (Still using an old bios though dated 10/27/01). Never felt the need to update the bios because if it isn't broke, don't fix it :)

    i got some 1.6a & 1.8a's today...

    I must be doing something seriously wrong then. I have a P4a 1.8 w/ ABIT TH7II (RDRAM) mobo, and the best I can OC is 120FSB (I've locked the AGP and PCI slots). With the TH7II, the highest I can go with the voltage is 1.625 (yuk). I'm using PC800 RDRAM sticks (4x256). Any suggestions??
