Wrong! As we should all know by now, Western Digital changed their policies AND packaging as of October first. All their pata drives now have the standard warranty period of 1 year. (If you got a 200GB from Dell, you'd know all about it.) And the 160GB and larger hard drives no longer come with...

Well, I picked one up at B&M today, using the flyer I got in the mail for the same 10% gift card offer, only this one was for an instant gift card, and good only at B&M. I was charged $224.99 for the drive, and $25.00 for the gift card, which I did receive instantly. Both $70 rebates printed out...

I received one of these drives yesterday. No ata100 card, 1 year warranty. Don't know what Dell is thinking about doing with the "missing" card, but my warranty has now been upgraded to 3 years. :)

Ordered one online and picked it up already. Checked at the store, and the third rebate was not printing out at the register. Also, there was a guy in front of me pm'ing the Seagate 120GB with Compusa. With some argument, they let him do it to after rebate price. :Q They never seem to do that...
