Is the 4.23 working fine for you? If so, let me know and stick with it... I tried 4.29, 4.30, 4.31 and 4,32 and all of them gave me headache... My windows have always one or two programs crashed... THAT REALY ANOYS ME... sorry i'm brazilian so I can't curse very well in english... IF THE 4.23...

Where can I get this luckydaze bios? is it safe? can I safely return to 0515 if I want? If I set any special feature durin luckydaze bios, what happens if I change to 0515? too many question? you wont beleave the other doubts I have.

I'm using the 0515 bios and it seems that most of my problems have been solved since the upgrade. I don't have any AGP problem, neither SB related. But I haven't used my RAID yet. The olnly problems left are that the computer refuse the reboot, but shutdown OK, and that my SideWinder 2 is...

What OS should I use if it is only for games?

Thank you... I' try first with Pro, if it works fine maybe i'll buy myself a copy. I'll never buy a MS OS before I'd tested it. Last time I did I spend R$300,00 , what is about US$ 140,00 , on WinME and I used it for 2 days. Now it is on my shelf waiting for some friend of mine to buy it from...

Thank you guys... I'll try the dual boot and i'm already looking for some tweakers for win2k. I think I'll try win2k pro first. If every thing goes OK i'll remove win98se from my HD. If any of you happened to come to Brazil, let me know.

Look, I've been wondering around and find out that many of you guys are using Win2K. And that really surprised me, 'cause I thought that Win2K was designed only for network kind of application, like SQL Server and stuff. But actually many of you use it as a game platform. I've been using Win98SE...

Dual Duron

Are any DUAL Socket-A MB avaliable? Don't matter if it is AMD 761 or KT133A as long as is it DUAL Socket-A. So I could use 2 Duron 850 (that are not expensive) and have a very good performance at low cost.

Problems overclocking a Pentium III 450 Katmai + P2-99!!! Any one can help?

Questions: 1) What is a good FSB? 103MHZ? 110? 124? 2) Why the Clock Multipier did not affected the CPU clock? 3) Can I set my AGP to the same clock as the FSB, without damage to my GPU? 4) Can I set the PCI frequency to anything higher than 33? 5) Any other suggestion?

Problems overclocking a Pentium III 450 Katmai + P2-99!!! Any one can help?
