Good question. Why ARE they trying so hard to protect the rights of those who are unlawfully in our country and are trying their best to destroy us? Oh, and learn how to spell.
Hey, I was wondering if anyone uses delivery confirmation on high dollar rebates (like $75 and over). Is there really any benefit to this? If they claim they don't receive the rebate, they normally let you send in a copy of what you originally sent, right?
Does anyone happen to have a working number to get a live CSR at Parago? The numbers in the first post no longer work and you just get bounced around an automated system. Bastards are trying to screw me on a $90 Hitachi rebate.
I'm not sure if it's actually working but I saw mention of a hacked firmware that'll let you turn some 4x Liteons into their 8x cousins. I read this at cd freaks.
I got a call from my OM yesterday because I had a raincheck on these from the last deal and they finally got more in. He told me I could pick it up for $79.99 now or wait until next week when it'll be 69.99. I haven't gone there to see if it's a Liteon or not but I'll try to post when I do.
Yep, I've had the same problem with the last two fuji/bestbuy rebate deals and so has my friend. When is someone going to start a class action lawsuit against these bastards? I'm getting really tired of having to follow up and then re-follow up a month after that. I mean, it's obvious that they...
Yep, Best Buy has an excusive fifth disc shrinkwrapped with the box. They're selling for about $45 though. Each store is supposed to have at least 250 copies with the bonus disc.
My nForce2 motherboard recently died and I was going to replace it with another nF2 board but just found out that an HDTV card I'm buying has issues with that chipset. I already have an Athlon XP or I'd consider switching to a P4 setup. Can anyone suggest a stable sub-$100 board? Is the KT600...
I just had my wired router trashed by a lightning strike. Does anyone know if you can turn off the wireless function on this router and use it only as a wired one? I don't have any wireless devices and would rather not open up potential security risks if I don't have to.
Well, if you're watching a feature film on TBS then compression is the least of your worries! Pan and scan, ungodly amounts of commercials, speeding up the film slightly so they can squeeze in even more commercials, lousy sound (compared to a proper 5.1 surround setup), and station logos are...
Nope, the Tivo w/Directv receiver can only record Directv programming because it doesn't have the video encoder the standalone units have to record any video source. But, not having the encoder keeps the price down and the quality is awesome because it's recording the actual digital stream that...
Actually, a friend of mine bought a couple of dozen of these smart programmers from a "pirate provider" for his company's security system. "The different cross section of hardware providers" were charging three times as much for the same programmers and he felt the "pirate" ones actually...
I picked this combo up in the previous sale and have been running memtest on it for several days without a hiccup. I have heard from others that this isn't a very good board but I'm using this as a secondary system so price is more important than stability, etc. If you're a newbie, I would...
I picked up one of these Athlon combos at the Garland TX store today. There was a pile of returned ones by the motherboards display but there was a big stack over by the counter that were brand new. The processor I got is an AIUHB 0304. The sales guy seemed to think the sale ends tonight.
There *may* yet be hope. On the welcome email I received, there was a customer service link. I sent them a message asking where my code was and here's their reply:
Thank you for your inquiry to MasterCard International.
After signing up it may take up to 48 hours for the certificate to be...
You people crack me up! So, you're telling me that you've all got only legit software and music on your PCs. What a bunch of hypocrites!
And, in case you haven't realized, both parties are majorly ****ed so you're getting screwed no matter who you vote for. None of them give a crap about you...
You probably wouldn't gain much in performance. I think the A7N266-VM has built in GeForce2 video which is pretty comparable to a Radeon 7000 last I checked.
I would get it just for the peace of mind of not having to use your $130+ DVD-writer to burn lots of CD-Rs and shorten it's lifespan. Plus, you can do disc to disc burns.
I picked one of these up at Target last week as well. It's a GE 5-in-1 Card Reader/Writer #H097941. There were a bunch along with other clearance stuff on an endcap in the electronics section. Lots of interesting cables and a adapters too.
The one I received is $15 off $30, and is valid until 5/15. Also, on the back it says it's not valid for purchases from Tech Depot so I'm assuming it's not valid for anything useful.
Yes, in fact Dell makes it really easy for you to add an additional hard drive and CD/DVD drive in a 4550. The rails you need to screw on to your drives are included inside the case. You just open it up, screw the rails on your drives, click them into place and attach power and IDE cables...
A lot of people complain about the PSU but I've had a 4550 with the standard PSU since last fall and I'm running a CD-RW, DVD writer, two 120GB hard drives, a Radeon 9700, sound card, and firewire card and haven't had any power issues at all.
The remaining Police SACDs are on sale at circuitcity.com for $12.99 each ($24.99 for the double "Live" album). Free shipping too. I'm pretty sure only the "Best of" SACD is multichannel and CD player compatible though. The rest of them are two channel only (in case that matters to you). Oh, and...
