I would like to join team alien..

I've been running the cli with the seti driver and its running great. I'm at 5 hr 9 min wu's.. but I only have 1 machine, I see some people are running a few, thats alot of crunching! anyway I was told to speak to eponymous about joining but he doesn't have pm on, so eponymous if you read this...

Just ordered a 1ghz T-Bird AXIA...

I'm currently running at 150x9.5= 1425, I was a bit higher awhile back but this setting is rock stable and my temps are great.. good luck :)

Should i worry about these temps?

your system will be fine as long as you don't start locking up or anything like that.. but still that is a little high, my rig is a kt7a with a 1ghz axia oc'd to 1.425 at the moment and I'm in a room hot as hell, my temps have only risen alittle do to my case cooling.. I was idling at 27c before...

I've heard you can join the reseller program at amd and they will send you case stickers and stuff like that for free, I know they sell them at directron.com and I always see them on e*bay in the computer/cpu section for a few bucks..

How to cool AXIA @ high speeds?

well I'm currently running a 1ghz axia at 1.4.. I'm using an abit kt7a and a fop32, I also have some 120mm sunons in my case. my temps are pretty good, 28c idle, and max load is at 45c.. for a 400 mhz overclock you know its going to be hot, gotta have that cooling:)

I also just got the same chip from compuwiz!! right now running at 140x10 rock stable, with 256 of mosel from instarain.. it seems though this chip doesn't like higher fsb like my other 1ghz axha.. sharpstick what settings are you using?

anyone install a blue orb on a radeon 64?

I'm just curious cause I already can get 210/210 easily using the tweaker.. I wonder if the blue orb would help alittle more than the stock cooler?

What case and cooling is best for OC

The antec sx830 is reasonably priced, and is a nice looking case.. you can get a 300 or 400w PS from them and I think it comes w/ 2 80mm fans with slots for 2 more. everything is supposed to come apart with ease. I personally use an addtronics 6890, Its a strong nice looking case, their website...

I'd say thats way to hot there man.. you should be maxed no higher than 50 something, 60c is usually the danger point. what HSF are you using? and what kind of case cooling do you have? what voltage settings are you using? you better check these things.

I can't really tell by that pic, it looks like they are closed.. you are looking at the L1 bridges and if it looks like this :::: that is locked, if they look like this llll that is unlocked. if you can see the dots [::::] you can take a pencil, like a .05 mechanical pencil and fill the dots in...

yes the L1 bridges should be closed already, and you are saying you have it running at 10x145 that means it is unlocked cause you changed the multiplier. and the restarting thing sounds like its still alittle unstable at 145, try 10x140. It could be the crucial or another device holding you back...

ok first of all, crucial does make very good ram, however for overclocking crucial will usually top out at 145, I have read that some people have reached 150 with it but not usually. you might have better luck if you up the voltage to 1.80 or to 1.85 once you unlock the chip, and if that don't...

why am I getting bios check sum errors all of a sudden??

I was trying my fop38 on the fan header of the kt7a, and all of a sudden I can't boot. the fan is spinning but I get a bios check sum error.. so I put the rig back to the way it was with a smaller 60mm on the fan1 header and still the same thing. my system was rock solid before messing with the...

New Taisol CGK760092 heatsink/fan review!

hmm..I think I'm alittle confused, I thought most hsf are set up to suck (like globalwin), sticker facing up will suck air from the HS, alpha's are setup to blow on the HS.. is this right?

damn globalwin clip, can u change em'?

I have an fop38 and the damn swivel end of the clip keeps breaking off and I'm fed up ..so I took a clip from an old taisol, one of the 1 piece thin clips not the new fatter ones and used that.. it seems to go on ok, its actually pretty easy to get off and on with a screwdriver. but I'm worried...

Abit KT7A-Raid and T-Bird 1.2ghz, is this a good setup?

almost my setup, except my tbird 1ghz is overclocked to 1.2, but I'm using the kt7a raid in raid 0, this system rocks..I'm loving the hell out of it..once you learn the bios, which is easy anyway, you can tweak the hell out of this board in seconds..even if you don't overclock much your system...

Looking for a good overall case modding site....

I found my info on www.2cooltek.com check the addtronics 7896 link on the bottom right of the homepage, thats similiar to my case, and I just did some of the mods he did there... but now I need the soundproofing cause its loud!!!!

should i sell my 256mb generic pc133 ram and get some quality pc150?

what type of system are you running? if you have or are planning to get a board with the kt133a chipset or something similiar and plan on upping your fsb to like 150 then go for it..otherwise it would be a waste
