Matrox Marvel G200 in Windows 2K/XP

I cant get it to work! Apart from the fact that the Cap Capabilities arn't supported under WXP, I cant get it to work under Windwoes 2000 either. Does anyone have a G200 Marvel working in Windows 2000 or Windows XP with the Vid Cap function WORKING?

Flatscreen CRT 17" Monitor without Tension Wires. Suggestions?

I'm looking for a Flatscreen CRT 17" Monitor without Tension Wires. Dont suggest an LG Monitor, I've had enough of them. I'm thinking of a Hitachi CM625...... Any more suggestions/opinons?

Paintless case?

2Cool, do you have any idea how expensive Brushed Stainless costs? I'd like some Powdercoated Stainless Mesh, but that is double the price of stainless. It's nice to dream, anyway.

Why don't AMD just make all their CPUs unlocked?

But, if a feature was programmed into the cpu, that displayed the cpu's rated speed on bootup, the chip wouldn't be unlocked. If you were a consumer, and saw Athlon XP 1600+ (1.4Ghz) @ 1.65Ghz on your post screen, wouldn't you start asking questions? If you were an overclocker, you'd be proud...

IIS Prob: FileSystemObject doesn't work

I have used FileSystemObject in an ASP page I am working on, but the page just wont work. You go to the page (hosted on IIS5.0/Win2KServerSP2) and the progress bar just inches across to about 50% then stops. NOTHING happens. ANY help would be greatly appreciated :D

system failure!@#

Dissassemble the whole computer. Set the mobo up on the desk. Give it a stick of ram, and use the new PSU. Put the duron 750 in it, put the hsf on. Put a reliable vid card in, and then clear the cmos. Make sure all jumper settings are set correctly, and try and boot it. Sometimes a clear head...

Anyone know any good books on programming games in VB?

I agree with Nevyn522, VB is crap for games. I think it is really only usefull for applications. If you dont like C in Dos, try Microsoft Visual C++

hehehe...I'm an Aussie, and I left anandtech too. (But i'm still here!) I only left because Anandtech, imho, is too big and the OCAU Forums were so much faster it wasn't funny. Nothing against the AT Community or anything....well, maybe it was because i didn't get my own mod. *sob* :D

Two hard drives set as Master and now they are blank.. HELP PLZ!

/mbr WONT fix a corrupt FAT. I know. Well, I lost all the data, my advice to you is BACKUP! And that 4 month old Backup CD collection probably wont do much if you stuff up now.... Thanks for your help anyway people :)
