not sure of the goal in updating but enigma@home just stopped sending out new work units on purpose for a few weeks. not sure if you'd want to track at that level or not. it will be reopened again after the project manager has consistent internet access again in a few weeks.

okay just joined up my xeon 3.2 box. it's crunching two tasks, any idea why progress stays at 0% when i view from task tab? i'm running as a service and task status says running and cpu time is increasing.
and it's been awhile since i've done any DC but how transparent can BOINC be? i don't really want anything shown when booting up or logging onto my computer and nothing in taskbar.
added my new sempron 3000+ and an athlon 1500 on rosetta and a little primegrid. i already have a p3-450 that has been doing some other boinc too that i left alone.
my p4-2.4 is back online for tas after having been dead for the last week. just swapped my hard drive into another computer and i'm crunching away again for tas.
my daughter received putt putt saves the zoo for her 4th bday. kinda needed someone to sit with her the first time through and figure it out but after that she was fine. i think there's not a lot of variety in the game so once you memorize/remember where stuff is, it's not much of a challenge...
is there a summary of the project url to download the software and what team? do we just join team anandtech or is there a seperate miniteam somehow? i don't have much free time the next couple of days and want to make sure i'm up and running for the challenge.
isn't the whole point of DC to harness as much power as it can toward a common goal? as long as all 10 clients aren't doing the same work, i don't see what the problem was. if we were crunching along to work on a cure for cancer, wouldn't we want to finish 10 times faster? my only hesitation is...
just don't come crying to the forum if you start going through stats withdrawal and didn't chime in on this thread. i really would love to see boinc stats!!!!

after you posted, i did try through boic. well i tried through the app and it worked. so i'll check tomorrow and see if any stats went through.

welcome to rosetta! don't worry about the athlon being slow, it'll still crunch away on rosetta just fine. i've even got a couple p3-450s working on rosetta. also it's installed as a service on 4 of 5 of my computers so you should be fine.
i think tng usually did like 26 episodes not that that should make a huge difference in price. i think they're overpriced too but obviously paramount disagrees and good for them.
i got that disk space message too one a couple of my computers. instead of adjusting prefs i uninstalled and reinstalled on a different harddrive that more room.
thanks guys. i'm part of tas and still trying to migrate my computers. some of have going for a couple of days without any work completed but sometimes it says done in my work tab. maybe cause i'm running rosetta still at 10% ? i'm still getting used to boinc.
