Like oldman said running in sync is better so no need to upgrade your ram to PC3200. In fact I think if
Most of the PC3200 rams will work at 166 fsb @Cas 2.5 easy, in fact if you can give more voltage to ram it should do cas 2 at 166fsb.

Newegg shows three Abit Ti4200's. Why is that? 2 of them is priced at 59$ and the other is at 69. Which one should I choose?
Is it ok to buy a refubished graphic card? Newegg is selling this 9700pro for 160$. Also there is a 9800np for 175$ Link below :

I e-mailed bfgtech support and they said that they could ship the card only in USA. So I gived them my friend's adrees in CA. The card's box was in a good shape so I don't think that it was damaged on the way, I think it is defective.
I connected the cable. When I don't connect the cable the...
I just recieved my BFG 5900. It was boxed and came with CoD game. I bought it from outpost.com because they are shipping to Turkey but they don't have BFG 5900 on thier website anymore. I was feeling lucky to have the CoD game but the card is not working :( In the boot screen there are white...
I'm having trouble using the vivo in windows xp. It works fine in windows ME.
Anyone having similer problems?
I tried to install a couple of wdm drivers but it didn't help :(
Yes, just like whta I did :)
Here is my 3d mark 2001 : http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4759628
And if you buy a Gf4 Ti4200 it would be even beter : http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4219652
My friend has a clevo 5100c notebook. It uses Celeron 433 and in it's web site says it supports Intel Pentium III 600MHz(uPGA2) and Intel Celeron 466MHz(PGA 370). So can we use a Celeron 600
(cB0 - 1.50v) on this notebook? If we try to work it is there any risk that we can damage the cpu? And...
I got 2133 @1.575V and 2.23Ghz@1.675V on this mobo with the intel hsf so with a better hsf you can do 2.3 or 2.4 or even more.
<< does it have any known problems >>
Yes you shouldn't use Kingston ram with this mobo and I heard that there are some problems with the usb but I can't confirm...
Mines are here
It's stable@2133@1.575v and the @1.675 it can do 2.26Ghz. I can't monitor the temps in windows but the heatsink is hardly lukewarm. The memory is running @166 2-2-3
And how do you select 1/4 pci mutipler below 133 fbs? Is it something with the jumpers on the mobo?
Actually I don't need that multipler but I'm just curios :)
Asus Probe does not show the temps right. IT's always at 40C and today for the first time it was @41 C when I oc'd 1.6 to 2133@1.575v.
I think the bios shows the temps right but Ýsn't there a program which shows the accurete temps ?
Also there is no 1/4 pci mutipler below 133 fbs. Why??
So they both read the temp from the same chip. The only way there would be difference between the readings would be MBM adding compensation right.
And about adding offset (same meaning as adding compensation right?) : Would the hardware monitoring chip add the compensation or the program that...
<< This is specific to Asus boards, but the author of MBM said that:
The CPU sensor settings are as follows....
Sensor2 - reports the temp directly from the on-die sensor.
Sensor CUSL2 - MBM adds compensation(per asus recommendation)to the readings from the on-die sensor.

Can you give...
He also says that before he did bios update for his Asus P3V4X , the temp. readings of the bios and the program he used (Asus Probe) used to give different readings.
So he says that the motherboard monitoring program was showing the wrong temps because the faulty bios caused the monitoring...
Doesn't MBM and the bios read the temps from the same chip? One of my friends keep telling me that bios shows the most accurete temp readings? How does this work?

<< I have my P4T-E @ 133 fsb now. I haven't tried any higher yet. I'm running at 32C at idle and 43 full load. >>
What speed are you running your ram at?
<< if implemented properly, the processor could throttle down or even shutoff if its temperature got too high. >>
What does if implemented properly mean? Does it mean we have to make some adjustments on the mobo? Can't the XP shut it self down without the help of mobo ?
I had my PII@560 on my Abit BE6. Yeah 140 fsb on my bx :) I only added another fan on the stock hs and applied thermal grease. It was totally stable @2.1V and I think I could do 600 if I had a better ram :(

<< One of my friend did oc his 1.8A to 2.4 retail cooling and default voltage and 2.6 @1.6. >>
Which motherboard? >>
His system is :
ASUS P4B266
Crucial 2x256MB DDR
HD Maxtor 80Giga 7200T UDMA 133

<< I second that question! I am thinking of getting 2, one for my PC and one for the wife's. I am just waiting to see if the 1.8A(400FSB) will run at 2.4(533FSB) with retail cooling and default voltage. That would be sweet! >>

Thanks. I heard that via has more options for the ratios. Is this true , can you choose mem speed @133 while the system speed is @100 with a via board.
I have been using my case for 2 years and until last month
everything was oc. I have a Abit BE6 and it has no 3.3V adjustment.
I use MBM5 and I record my reading. My readings of +3.3V was 3.38-4.41 and +5.00 was 4.95-5.02. And now for about a month +3.3V is 3.12-3.23 and +5.00 4.70-4.81 Is there...
Kingston pc133 cas 3 (cas2@100) score:
SS Sandra : 315-356@ cas2 ,303-345@ cas3
I have Abit BE6 (bx) and celeron 600@900
Why the difference is so small???
