Okay.. I'll trust your opinion, I've just heard that pairing an Athlon XP with a GF4 results in disaster for psus.
I'll try it, I'm just afraid of it damaging my system (Im not worried if the PSU dies) or resulting in a nuclear explosion or something.

With the rare chance that people have tried both of these cards, can anyone comment on which of the card's respective fans are quieter than one another? Or are they equal?
Both cards sound identical in terms of cooling and stability, I guess this is the only factor I have left in choosing...

Simple question. The $100 price difference does not seem to be worth a 25mz more of core power. The Ti4600 seems barely stronger, and there isn't anything outstanding about it compared to the Ti4400.

Simple question: I have my ide cables hooked up so my Sony DVD-Rom is a master, and the Plextor CD-RW is a slave. Can that affect speed on both/either of them?

I got 5500 in 2k1 with my Gainward Ti450. I simply do not understand how you guys got those scores. When I overclocked mine, it locked up at 520 memory. I also tried overclocking a little under that, but it didn't do a damn thing to my 3dmark2k1 score!!

I wouldn't call it "fairly warm," I'd call it "a few more degrees and it would just plain hurt my skin." Although it may not be the harddrive at all.
