    Just got my Abit IC7

    Did you try different memory timings in the BIOS? I noticed there are 3:4, 4:5 or even 1:1 for the memory divider. Different chipset might require different settings in the BIOS when it comes to overclocking. Did you try to raise the voltages?

    Which one did you get? They have 3 versions based on the KT400A, Intel 875 and the NVIDIA nForce 2. Can you tell us more about the BIOS options and the tweaking ability? LIke voltage options and how stable the board is. We ALL know the board GLOWS, now show us some numbers!

    Just got an update from Abit Marketing over at the Abit Forum. Both of the IC7 and IC7-G come with 2 Serial cables as well as 2 Serial ATA hard drives power connectors. The board looks great!! except I donno why Abit uses a light blue heatsink fan on a black PCB motherboard. :(

    Yep, they did mention that in the thread, however 240Mhz with the default mutliplier 14x is not bad at ALL! The memory is probably holding it back running sync mode, they should try 250Mhz with the 3:2 or 5:4 divider and see if it will go any higher. :D

    Are you running Sync or Async mode? Means nothing at that high FSB if you are running Async mode.

    I would go with the NF7-S rev1.2, for about $20 extra you get Soundstorm, Serial ATA and a serial ATA converter which goes for about $25 retail. 8RDA+ is definitely a great too.

    Have you double check to make sure it is not the power supply? since it will not power at all. I would test the board outside the case on a non-conductive service like the static bag came with the board to make sure nothing was being shorted.

    Not sure if the 8RDA+ has this option available in the BIOS, but can you try to raise the AGP voltage? I have seen similar under volt issues on many NF2 chipset boards.
