Note for those planning to order the $2.95 Panaflos from MPJA

I got LIA from mpja and they had the 2 pin tails. I bought 2-3 pin connectors from SVP or something, you can get a bulk rate, like $2.70 for 3 and free shipping at the time, I don't know now, either way I think they ended up being cheaper than PCMods. Of course I can't remember their website...

Trouble with Windows XP Pro, IE and @ATTBI

XP + SoundBlaster Live + RealPlayer = NO SOUND

I think I have played with every setting on this thing. I get good sound for playing MP3s and when watching TV through my AIW card but now that I've installed RealPlayer to watch the European news (about the recent tragedies) I get the horrific pictures but no sound which is VERY frustrating...

Giving your cat a bath depends on how you do it. You have to be sure that they are 100% dry when the ordeal is done which is often difficult since you are being rushed to the emergency room. Seriously, they get chills easily so you have to dry them off REALLY well especially in the winter...

Warm - ATI AIW Radeon AGP Card - Compusa B&M $199 after MIR

Also if you want the DVD program from the MultiMedia Center you need the retail disk so that they can check you out. If you want to get DVD software elsewhere that is ok but you wouldn't be able to download it from their site without the retail Multimedia Center CD.

Thanks everyone! I got the Vantec yesterday and I was very impressed with how easy it went on! More importantly with the Artic Silver it dropped my CPU temp from 60-62 to 38. My case temp is still 33 but I'm happy. Thanks again!

Thanks, I thought I was losing it at first! :0 Anyway, thanks for the ME / 2000 warning too, but as long as 2K will recognize a ME drive long enough to copy back the files to the small drive I don't think that will be a problem. - So help me if this doesn't work I will scream though :D

sohcrates - isn't there like a 1 GB limit on files in FAT32 though? NTFS doesn't have a limit or its incredibly high. I would otherwise stick with FAT32 but I would like to manipulate my DVDs and such before I make them into Divx and generally think more is, well, more ;) Am I in left field...
