    Thanks for the links kuk. That meku link is where I got the idea. I wasn't sure however if my optical mouse was drawing more power than his ball mouse, and I didn't want to break anything.

    Yeah, I know it sounds stupid and rediculous to do what I am planning to do, but I am not the first. It's just something I do to keep from sitting around and doing nothing during my free time. Nice to keep up on skills involving tools and such.

    ElFenix how did you measure the amperage used by your mice? I'm not sure if the explorer has more unecessary components being powered versus the logitech (i'm using a logitech at the moment waiting for the paint on my mouse to dry and the inside of the logitech is much more simplistic).

    epson usb drivers

    That's really weird. I have an epson stylus C80 hooked up via usb. I just plugged it in and winxp automatically recognized and installed it. Then I ran windows update and it had a driver update for it. So if they are not free on epson's site, run windows update when you get it running.

    Athlon XP 2000+ or P4 2.0A?

    My xp2000+ is rock stable on my msi 745ultra. Sis socket a chipsets are great when it comes to stability. Haven't installed any sort of drivers/patches/bios updates. It's running like a champ out of the box.

    I put a 16x lite-on dvd and 32x lite-on cdrw in my new rig. When i tried doing cd-cd audio copying in nero with burnproof, the burns were successful, but very minor skips could be heard on one or two tracks. Is there some sort of setting to prevent these?

    I also have charter digicable (no cablenet tho >.<) and both digital and analog signals throughout the house. To view the digital cable, you need a box. But, any line you don't have a box on, you can view the regular analog cable.

    From Newegg: I have the Vivo version of this card, and the benefit of buying the golden sample was that I was able to o/c it to ti4600 speeds with stock cooling. If there is some program I can run and tell you the memory speed in ns, I would be happy to do that for you for further proof.

    I'd reccomend the gainward.. especially if it is a golden sample. I was able to bump my goldensample ti4200 to ti4600 gpu/ram speeds.

    Ok, I dug this much up. Apparently the lite-on 32125w can be upgraded to the 48x. However, the 32123s cannot. This is concerning the 32x lite on burners. Nuts, just checked and I have the 32123s. Oh well, 32x is still plenty for me.
