    Another is there any chance for my hdd thread

    Dropped it on the floor. Swapped the hdd into an external enclosure that I have. When I plug it in to win vista it makes some noises and then is silent. Windows recognizes it as 2 removable drives, but wont let me access anything. Any chances I can salvage it? Thanks

    I replaced the entire LCD panel with a new LCD panel. I asssume the backlight is contained within the LCD unit itself.

    I have an HP DV6000 series laptop. I can still see everything normal on the screen when I tilt it to a certain angle, but it is very dark. It works perfectly fine when I run it through an external monitor. I replaced the lcd screen and the inverter to no avail. I do see a burn in the sheathing...
